Concept

This satirical literary magazine is seeking authors who love to make comedic worldly observations. We want to read your work and hear what you have to say---as long as you’re funny about it.
We all love a good giggle when times are getting rough! The Village Goose aims to spread positivity and give all of our readers a hearty chuckle as they turn our pages. If you think you could help us with this mission, we want to see
what you have! Make us laugh, and you’re in!
Ideal Submissions

The Village Goose is seeking creative nonfiction, short fiction,
poems, flash fiction, scripts, comics, artwork, limericks, gibberish, a list of puns… whatever you want! Just create with the intent to inspire humor!

Stylistically, anything from satire to blatant comedy is desired. This could include social commentary, political satire, sketch comedy, a story about something funny that happened to you recently, et cetera. The more creativity, the better!

Please do not submit academic papers, novel abstracts/pitches, or death threats, although we are flattered you would offer them.

WORD COUNT: Please do not submit anything more than 1,000-1,500 words, MAXIMUM. For art / comics, 4 pages MAX.
